Where is Victoria Beach?
It’s about a 75 minute drive north of Winnipeg on the east side of Lake Winnipeg. When you travel up highway #59 to Grand Marais or Grand Beach .. you would continue going straight instead of looping leftwards into the provincial park.

We arrived Friday June 16th, 2006 around 4pm ..
Friday: Humid, hot, calm, BBQ Chicken & Salad
Saturday: Windy, hot, BBQ Burgers & Salad, Storm late at night
Sunday: Windy, cool, Breakfast, then go.
We left Sunday June 18th, 2006 around 11am …
Besides usual dog walks, store jaunts, grocery and bakery breaks, exploring, and wading in the water .. Yvonne decided to start jogging! Good for her. Her muscles were sore Sunday night as I typed this.

[…] It was at a very high cost .. (the passing of my wife’s mother) .. but my wife and her sister inherited their mother’s share of a lakefront cabin out at Victoria Beach, Manitoba. We all plan to make good use out of this cottage and enjoy it while we can. I probably will be posting a few Maxxie and Sophie pictures over at the other dog site . Thanks. I thoroughly decided to start number the movies we personally watch in numerical order (the next starting with 4) .. and see how high it goes each summer. YV’s starting to record off of the Movie channels now.
